Shakespeare in the 'Burg celebrated its seventh year in 2019 in beautiful Middleburg, VA. The festival brings the plays of William Shakespeare alive in the bucolic countryside of Virginia. In addition, the festival hosts workshops in stagecraft and acting, and a One-Act Playwriting Competition, with public readings or performances of the winners! This year, the American Shakespeare Center from Staunton, VA, will return for a one-night performance of Imogen, a new take on Shakespeare's Cymbeline. We look forward to welcoming back the ASC to Middleburg.

All dramatic performances were held at The Hill School's Sheila Johnson Center for the Performing Arts,

130 S. Madison Street, Middleburg, VA.

We are grateful to the Hill School for the generous use of their beautiful theatre.

Hill School Alulm Dan Hasse is now Associate Artistic Director of the ASC.
